Event Details

Come out and join SCA and PIck Up America in Oakland for a service project prior to the Outdoor Nation Summit. We'll be partnering with East Bay Regional Parks to pick up trash and remove invasive species at the MLK Jr. Regional Shoreline.

Training, tools, materials, water, and healthy snacks will be provided. Volunteers should wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes; bring a waterbottle, sunscreen and a hat. A volunteer t-shirt will be provided on arrival the day of the event.

Where: 5737 Oakport Street, Oakland, 94621.  Parking is down a gravel road in a lot next to ball fields.

In adition to our service project, volunteers may also participate in Art for the Sky to make a "giant living painting made of people." Please bring a yellow or orange shirt and be part of our picture!
